A friend of mine once told me that he taught on-line courses and got a lot of money for it. He said it was an easy job for him and really enjoyed it since he didn't have to physically be at the college. He said most of his interaction with his students are online so he could do it in his office or at his home. The first year is the hardest because he had to build up the curriculum, but after that, everything was a breeze. If you have a higher degree and have extra time, you might consider teaching for additional income.
